SK-1 (space suit-1) is the world’s first space suit, which was developed in the USSR for the flights of the first cosmonauts on the Vostok series spacecraft and was used in 1961-1963.

The SK-1 spacesuit is a set of life support systems and survival equipment for rescuing an astronaut in the event of an emergency change in environmental conditions during all phases of the flight and after landing.
